Our Seniors' Consultant

Ann Dobbins is a registered nurse with a BA in Psychology. Ann’s nursing experience spans the full continuum of care but over the past nine years has focused on the accommodation and health needs of Ottawa seniors.

As an independent seniors’ consultant and later as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization known as SARAH – Ann has assisted hundreds of individuals and families with navigating to accommodation and supportive service option most appropriate for their health and lifestyle needs.

Now with AlaVida Lifestyles, Ann works as our community research and liaison person. Individuals, families and professionals working with seniors frequently call upon Ann for her input on how to best meet changing needs or what to consider when planning for ones future accommodation needs.

Ann’s knowledge of this segment of the continuum of care, as well as her unique background of advocating for seniors and families within this sector, make her a dynamite resource person.
